Product Safety and Compliance

AMPOVE LTD (company number 17522790, registered in England and Wales) is an online retailer of consumer technology accessories selling to customers in the United Kingdom and the United States.

How we source our products

We work with third-party suppliers and fulfilment partners. Before we list a product we ask the supplier for its compliance documents, such as declarations of conformity (CE and/or UKCA), RoHS information, FCC information for the US, radio test reports for products with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, and battery safety reports for products containing lithium batteries. We keep these documents on file and will provide them on request at contact@ampove.com.

Batteries and power banks

Products with lithium batteries are shipped in line with carrier rules for batteries. Please read the instructions in the box, do not use a damaged or swollen battery, and do not leave devices charging unattended.

Connected products

Products with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth come with setup instructions. Please change any default password during setup and keep the software up to date. To report a security issue with a product, email contact@ampove.com with the subject "Product security".

Dash cameras and recording

If you use a camera or dash cam, you are responsible for using it in line with the privacy and data protection laws that apply where you use it.

Product problems and recalls

If you think a product is unsafe, stop using it and contact us at contact@ampove.com with your order number and photos. We reply within 1 business day. If a safety recall is needed, we will contact affected customers and report to the relevant authorities.
